How can I create a chat room?
Creating a chat room:
1. Go to the app or website, and open the chats section in the bottom navigation menu.
2. In the bottom right-hand corner of the page, find the plus (+) button, which is for creating a new chat room.
3. After clicking on the + button you will be prompted to choose which way you want to create the chat room. Two options are offered: scan a QR code or use the search function.
- Scanning a QR code: If you select this option you will need to use your device's camera to scan the QR code, of another user. Once scanned, the chat room will automatically be created.
- Search User: If you select this option you will be prompted to enter the names or contact details of other users you wish to create a chat room with. You can select more than one user at a time to create a group chat.
4. After selecting the method of creating a chat, you will be prompted to perform additional actions according to the selected method.
- If you have scanned the QR code, the chat room will automatically be created and you will be redirected inside the chat room to start chatting.
- If you have selected users via search, after selecting your desired users, click on 'Create' in the top right-hand corner of the screen. A chat room will be created and you will be redirected inside to chat.
Congratulations! You now have a chat room created and can chat with other members.
